I got bored one evening and though I'd try this out. I held the shower head at an angle upside down using a c-stand. I put a black card behind it and then fired a Canon ex 580 mark II which would have been on the left hand side before I rotated it in Photoshop. I flagged the side of the flash to stop the light from spilling on to the background so I would keep the background completely black. The camera I used was a canon 5d mark II with a 24-105 mm lens on the front.
