Shoot with Amber and Niki again. "The Divinity of the Christian Sole"

This is a shoot I did in Hedingham castle with Niki Henry (makeup) and Amber Bird (model). It was quite a long day but well worth it for these shots we got. This really was an awesome location and it is open to the public over the summer. It is really worth a look! These images are for an exhibition in the university of herts and the Truman Brewery in London which is running on the first Thursday in July. The clothes were designed by Mikaela Skinner, a fashion student from the University of Herts also. Have to say they looked awesome and perfect for the concept. Speaking of which the concept was to mix Christian Louboutin shoes with Religion. I want to portray the fact that the soles of these shoes were created by the blood of Jesus Christ. Controversial, I know! It's something I've been wanting to try for awhile. The images have been printed to A2 prints and the frames were made by myself. Keeping to the religious theme I based the design on the Stations of the cross as you would see in any catholic churches.

Fashion shoot in South Bank.

Did a fashion shoot in South Bank, London the other day with a fashion student Mikaela Skinner and her final year clothing line. She is studying in the university of Hertfordshire. This stuff really did rock! Luckily the weather held it together (ish) for the day.

A shoot with Amber Bird

This was a shoot I did with two friends of mine. The model is Amber Bird and the hair and makeup artist was by Niki Henry. It was shot in the studios in the university of Herts. I used a 5D mark II and bowens lighting. I used a beauty dish on some of the shots with a kicker light on the back right and I also used a bowens  octo box umbrella.

Street fashion

Shoreditch and Brick lane to check the place out and the fashion on the street. This place rocks.  Heres what I came up with....

Spray with a shower head

I got bored one evening and though I'd try this out. I held the shower head at an angle upside down using a c-stand. I put a black card behind it and then fired a Canon ex 580 mark II which would have been on the left hand side before I rotated it in Photoshop. I flagged the side of the flash to stop the light from spilling on to the background so I would keep the background completely black. The camera I used was a canon 5d mark II with a 24-105 mm lens on the front.
